                                 Patch 3.10

              Patch for Mwave equipped ThinkPads 760, 765
              ===========================================

This patch is intended to fix the following problem:

     - Problems with IBM Speech Recognition program ViaVoice 98

This patch is intended for limited distribution to IBM customers. It has received only limited testing before release by IBM, therefore
it is suggested that any critical data on your hard drive be backed up before applying it. This patch will become obsolete with the next release of Mwave code.

Patch Prerequisites
===================
Mwave version 2.30 must be loaded on your computer running under Windows NT 4.0.

Patch Instructions
==================
1. Download the file into a temporary directory.

2. Open a DOS Window (Start ==> Programs ==> MS-DOS Prompt).

3. Change directories to the location where you downloaded the file (cd\<directory name>). Type mwntvv.exe and press enter.

4. This will extract the files mentioned above.

5. After it has completed extracting the files, type install.exe and press enter.

6. Install will try to locate all of the Mwave drivers. If everything is not found (probably because you used directory names other than the Mwave default ones, or because Mwave exists on another drive) it does not matter. The ONLY directory that has to be located is the Mwave Windows Directory (MWW32). If the directory found is incorrect, then reply "no" when install asks if everything is correct. Install will then prompt you to type in the correct path name

7. Reboot the system for the patch to take effect.
